James Baker DDS
Dr. James A. Baker has been providing excellent care to patients throughout our community for more than 40 years.
Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1981, he is an active member and leader of numerous professional organizations. Area dentists and orthodontists frequently refer their patients and loved ones to him as a trusted physician. He has been in private practice in Oklahoma City since 1979. In 2004, he founded OKC-OMS to ensure his patients were provided the ultimate oral surgery experience they deserve. He remains a vital part of the OKC-OMS family and performs a wide range of procedures on a daily basis.
His work includes treating patients with facial trauma, correcting jaw misalignment that affects functionality and facial aesthetics, TMJ disorders/pain, removing impacted and damaged teeth, placing dental implants, and bone grafting and site preparation for implant placement. His experience and training enable him to address even the most challenging and complex needs.
Curtis J. Bowman DDS
Dr. Bowman began his private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2004, and has been located in north central Oklahoma for his entire career. He specializes in the treatment of both children and adults.
Dr. Bowman completed his dental school education at the University of Detroit-Mercy in 1998. Immediately after graduating from dental school at the top of his class, he began his surgical training. He trained at a variety of institutions including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (www.pennmedicine.org), the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (www.chop.edu), and the University of Oklahoma Healthy Sciences Center (www.ouhsc.edu), functioning as Chief Resident from June 2003 to July 2004. His broad training background at some of the world’s most highly regarded institutions has made him uniquely qualified to treat the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery services.
Dr. Bowman received his board certification from the National Dental Board of Anesthesia in 2005 and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2006. He remains to only Board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in northern and northwest Oklahoma. He regularly participates in continuing education nationally and internationally both as a lecturer and participant.
Dr. Bowman has served as president of the Oklahoma State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and associated clinical professor at University of Oklahoma Medical Center. He is also a past board member of the Oklahoma State Board of Dentistry.
Dr. Bowman practices the full scope of his specialty and maintains privileges at several peer-reviewed hospitals.
M. Edmund Braly DDS
Residency and DDS: University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Completed residency in 1980 and is Board Certified. Serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at OU College of Dentistry.
Dr. Braly is a member of the American College of Dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesia.
Dr. Braly is currently Vice President of the Oklahoma Dental Association and has served as Secretary/Treasurer.
Dr. Braly is a Physician Surveyor for AAAHC and has been appointed to serve as the Committee on Office Based Surgery by the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia.
Patrick Wallace DDS
Dr. Patrick Wallace was raised in Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry in 1986.
After earning his DDS degree in 1990, Dr. Wallace completed an Oral and Maxillofacial residency at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in 1994 and has been in private practice since.

Paul Hartman DDS
Dr. Hartmann graduated with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Washington and Lee University in 1974.
He attended the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry, graduating in l98l with the Award for Excellence in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his surgical internship and residency training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio (1981-1985). He began his private practice in Williamsburg in 1985 and achieved his diplomate status with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1986. He is an associate clinical professor at the Medical College of Virginia, where he teaches on a part-time basis.
Dr. Hartmann is a past president of the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as, past president of the Peninsula Dental Society and past president of the MCV Alumni Association, Dental School Division. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as, a member of the Williamsburg / James City County Medical Society. He is an active member of the Medical Staff in the Department of Surgery at Williamsburg Sentara Regional Medical Center and is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Hartmann has served on advisory boards and executive boards for both Williamsburg Sentara Regional Medical Center and Riverside Hospital’s Williamsburg Doctors Hospital. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Williamsburg Doctors Hospital. He has extensive experience in many facets of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through more than 25 years of private practice and his teaching appointment at the Medical College of Virginia.
